Who We are

The Monastic Community of the Perpetual Adorers has been multicultural since 2014, welcoming Sisters mainly from Kenya. This led them to build personal relationships and therefore to gain direct knowledge of situations of local social hardship. Called into action, they began to support the schooling of three children and over the years they have grown to be 30 We have initiated projects to support and emancipate the women. Many people around them have made themselves available to collaborate, including us: Friends of Sister Benedetta for years, lay people and deeply linked to the spirituality of the Nuns, we have united - here and in Kenya - giving life to Pamoja Milele "Together forever", in the name of the Gospel, in the name of the friendship that binds us, in the name of the certainty that shared diversity is wealth for each one.

We decided to give concrete support to children, families and in particular to the women of the villages of Meru County in Kenya, creating the non-profit association, regularly registered with RUNTS since 2024, convinced that school education, training and economic education are the foundation for human growth in contrast to profound social decay. Today our urgency is to build adequate and dignified environments that allow children to live a daily life in a welcoming environment.

The volunteer activity is totally free and done with love.
